Do you have a small appliance, lamp, textile, or cord in need of repair? Bring it to the Repair Fair, and our volunteers will repair* your stuff for FREE! The Ukiah Branch Library is hosting a Repair Fair on Saturday, June 27 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Medium Art Center at 110 South School Street in Ukiah. Repair fairs are free events where volunteers repair items for the community. Each person may bring one item to be repaired. We ask that you stay with your item while it is being fixed so you can learn tips and tricks from the repair experts.
Types of items to bring:
Clothing/Textiles
Cords/cables
Small appliances (if you can carry it, we will take a look!)
Lamps *We cannot guarantee your item will be repaired, depending on the existing damage or breakage, ability of volunteer fixers, and availability of materials for repair. We cannot repair microwaves or cell phones. We cannot perform clothing alterations or replace zippers. Pre-registration is strongly recommended so we can prepare for your repair.
