Frequently asked questions.
I’m an artist - How can I show my work at the gallery?
Where are you located?
We are in Ukiah, California, USA, two hours north of San Francisco.
Who do you serve?
Artists of all ages, mediums, and levels - from those beginning their art journeys to masters of their craft. Post-pandemic, we hope to expand our offerings beyond a gallery space to become a community space for workshops, critique groups, maker events, and more.
I’m an artist from out of the area - can I still submit my work?
We love reaching people outside of the immediate community. Just know that if the work is accepted, you will be responsible for s&h costs - we don’t have the funds to be commission-free and cover shipping as well.
Is the gallery really commission-free?
We don’t require a commission upon the sale of a piece of artwork. Instead, we leave it up to the artist to decide if they wish to donate a portion of their sale.
Is the gallery really commission-free?
We rely on grants and the generous donations of community members. And amazingly, without requiring any commission, we’ve received an average of 20% of our artists' sales profits, which they donate freely back to the gallery. We were shocked and honored by this figure. Our goals for this year include securing additional funding sources and continuing to be a community art space that people want to be a part of and feel good about supporting.
How can I donate?/support
