Plein Air on the Plaza!

Come to the Alex Thomas Plaza on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month to create art outdoors during the Farmer’s Market. It is a great opportunity to spread creativity, build community, and incorporate art into the Mendocino County Farmer’s Market. 

No experience necessary. All are welcome. Bring your own easel, chair, and art supplies. Come to paint or draw, or come to observe artists at work. Artists can draw/paint whatever subject they choose- people, the market, food, musicians, pets in the plaza, downtown buildings…artist’s choice.

Supported by the Corner Gallery / Art Center Ukiah, Medium Art Center, and the City of Ukiah.

Plein Air on the Plaza will be held every month on the first Saturday from 10:00-12:00 beginning March 7th, during the Farmer’s Market.

Event will be canceled in case of rain.

Finished work can be entered in the September “Iconic Images of Mendocino County “ show at Art Center Ukiah.
