Medium Art Center is proud to partner with R.I.S.E. (Realizing Interdependent Success and Empowerment), Sneaker Wave Records, and TAPS (Therapeutic Arts & Performance Studio)  to present a day of music and art in Ukiah, in celebration of Disability Pride Month.

The day will include live music performances by Sour Widows, Weird Year, Quail on a Leash, Spider Monkey Beats, Tajie D, DJ Alterium, and more. There will be an Open Mic, a viewing of Art Explorers’ film, Bragging Rites:Finding Bigfoot, and an art making station.

More on the lineup and schedule coming soon!

On display in the Art Center is "The Music Within: Our Worlds Matter,” an exhibition supporting neurodivergent artists or artists with disabilities, whether diagnosed or not, in celebration of Disability Pride month. The theme of this show is represented in a quote: “Most people go to their graves with their music still inside them.” This is an opportunity for artists to let their creativity out. We are breaking down walls, coming out of isolation into celebration, because our worlds matter.
