“Memento Vivere” Group Show - Exhibition Opening & First Friday Art Walk

Medium Art Center invites the community to the opening reception of Memento Vivere, a juried group exhibition exploring what it means to truly live.

The title, Latin for "remember to live," serves as a reminder to pay attention to the moments that often slip past us. In a world that asks us to constantly plan, worry, and move faster, this exhibition asks artists to slow down and reflect on the people, places, experiences, and ideas that make life meaningful.

Featuring work by artists from across the region, Memento Vivere explores connection, joy, grief, curiosity, resilience, humor, love, and the strange beauty of everyday existence. Some works celebrate life. Others question it. Together they offer a thoughtful look at what it means to be present in a complicated world.

The exhibition opens during Ukiah's First Friday Art Walk with a free public reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists, explore the exhibition, and celebrate another month of community art at Medium.

Medium Art Center is an artist-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting accessible, inclusive, and experimental art. Located in downtown Ukiah at 110 South School Street, the art center hosts exhibitions, workshops, and performances throughout the year.
