Medium Art Center invites the community to the opening reception of Things That Go Bump in the Night, a juried group art exhibition.
Step into the shadows and explore things that go bump in the night. People have always had a fascination with the dark side, a curiosity of the unknown. This art exhibition asks us to face our fears, courageously look monsters in the face, and investigate the macabre. Seeking artists who make eerie paintings, haunting sculptures, and bizarre work made from all media.
Featuring work by artists from across the region, Things That Go Bump in the Night explores what makes our heart race, our breath quicken, and our imagination run wild.
The exhibition opens during Ukiah's First Friday Art Walk with a free public reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists, explore the exhibition, and celebrate another month of community art at Medium.
The exhibition will be on display October 2 through November 3, 2026
Free and open to the public. Gallery hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
